Deepavali Fair
Deepavali Fair-The Indian Festival of lights, 2010
 
Hindu Council of Australia is proud to announce that Deepavali Fair 2010 will be held on Sunday 07 Nov 2010 at Parramatta Stadium. It will be celebrated in association with PARRAMASALA, a NSW government initiative to promote South Asian Art and culture in Western Sydney.
 
The key attractions for this event are:
  • Professional artists from India
  • Talented artists from Sydney 
  • Indian  dance competition
  • Burning of Raavan effigy 
  • Lots of free activities for kids 
  • Face painting, Magic and Puppet shows
  • Various prize winning competitions 
  • Spectacular fireworks
  • Indian bazaar theme 

We believe that Deepavali Fair 2010 would be a  perfect opportunity for businesses to promote their products to Indian Diaspora by meeting people face to face and thus promoting the product directly to them. More than 25,000 people are expected to attend the fair and publicity of the fair will reach more than 200,000 people in Sydney.
